MTV Says Kanye West's "Monster" Video Was Never Banned

So it looks as if MTV never banned the video for "Monster" in the first place. Here's MTV's statement:

“MTV has not banned Kaye West’s ‘Monster’ video. We have been in constant communication with the label regarding this matter. However, we are still awaiting the edits we requested in order for the video to be suitable for broadcast.”

Guess they reviewed some Gaga videos and realized Kanye isn't that crazy after all. I hope they got rid of at least some of the outlandish sh*t in the video.
