Malina Joshi is a Nepalese beauty queen, model & media personality. She was crowned as Miss Nepal 2011. And she is going to participate on Miss World 2011 on London.

Malina Joshi was born on  in Sunsari, Nepal. Although she is the sixteenth Miss Nepal but she is the first Miss Nepal from the Sunsari District.

A student, her subject of specialization is marketing and would like to work in the field of advertising. In a glitzy ceremony replete with glamour, beauty, talent, personality and poise, the much awaited Lux Hidden Treasure Miss Nepal 2011 unfolded to a packed audience. Suspense was in the air as the ceremony progressed to a resounding climax with the crowning of the brand new Miss Nepal.

Brimming with confidence and oozing intelligence Malina Joshi sashayed her way to the prestigious Miss Nepal 2011 title beating 18 other gorgeous contenders on a cloudy evening in the Tribhuvan Army Officers’ Club in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

“I always had the self belief and that’s what kept me going,” shared the 23 year old from Sunsari, who will now represent the country in the upcoming Miss World 2011 in London.

 To the final question, “If women were to rule the world, how different would it be by 2050?” Joshi begged to differ, “I think women are already ruling the world in every sector, in every field. And I’m proud to be a woman!” the answer which ultimately led her to earn the crown.

Confidence personified, Malina Joshi charmed the audience and the judges alike to clinch the title of the Lux Hidden Treasure Miss Nepal 2011, organized at Army Officers’ Club in Kathmandu on Tuesday, August 30.
