Civil War Sesquitennial

Stan and I really wanted to go to Charleston, SC last Tuesday for the 150th anniversary of the first shot fired that started the War of Northern Aggression. But he had to work. We were so disappointed. But I found these photos on the Internet and used them to make a scrapbook layout of the Civil War Sesquitennial.

Big Move

When our niece, Jenny, was busy packing to move, their little boy, Brett, needed a little reassuring. Kyle took this photo and I wanted to scrap it. I used the bright colors to represent Charleston (they moved from Charleston to Illinois). I used the black make it pop but to represent how I feel about them moving away. The photo is black and white but with a colorful center to represent the heart.
